Susanne A. Wagner

Susanne A. Wagner is an Austrian born in Sweden. She grew up in Europe, Africa, and Latin America, and has been academically and professionally employed in the US and Latin America, while involved with academic programs from all over the world.  She is fully multicultural and fluent in four languages.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from United States International University, a Master’s in Latin American History from the University of California, San Diego and has doctoral studies in Latin American History from the University of California, San Diego with minors in Colonial History and Latin American Revolutionary Literature.  

Susanne A. Wagner has taught extensively in the areas of History and International Relations specializing on economic and developmental issues and has written various articles and given talks  on these and other subjects. As an education administrator, she has worked for the Center of Iberian and Latin American Studies at the University of California, San Diego and as the Executive Director for Alliant International University, Mexico (formerly United States International University-Mexico).  Currently, she is the President and General Director of the International Education and Research Center, S.C.
